The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring information security policies, standards, processes are maintained, that all relevant system and operational controls are operating, and that all associated artifacts are created, collected, and stored to demonstrate as evidence of compliance.In addition, the analyst will play a key role, working with various teams and individuals within the organization including development, quality assurance, business operations, product management, shared services, etc. to maintain information security best practices and to ensure at the individual level that information security roles and responsivities are understood and embraced. Lastly, the analyst will be a strong advocate for an information security principle.Responsibilities

SAST, DAST, Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Management: Ensure scans are run, reviews result, acts as necessary to remediate findings.

Ensures separation of duties principles are in place and provides access management input as required.

Ensures all shared services teams responsible for operation duties are executing as required (e.g., daily log reviews such as firewall logs, server logs, etc.).

Ensures proper documentation exists, and is maintained, to support security management and control operations. Examples are network diagrams, system access lists, boundary and data flow diagrams.

Ensures system patching is maintained, providing support, and engaging as necessary to remediate any deficiencies.

Supports internal and external audit activities such as evidence collection, control walkthroughs, document drafting, etc.

Monitor system inventory to ensure authorization to operate is proper and that all systems are built and deployed according to Conduent standards and MBC’s.

Reviews firewall rules on a period basis to ensure all are required and are properly configured.

Supports the ongoing development, maintenance, testing, and documentation of disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

Engages heavily in ongoing risk management activities and assessments to ensure efforts and investments are directed appropriately and leadership is aware of changes in risk status or additions to the risk register.

Ensure all required documentation is in place as required to support control operations, security best practices, and alignment with Conduent policies and standards.

Qualifications

Problem Solving: Ability to investigate problems and find an ideal solution

Communication and collaboration skills: Must be able to communicate at different levels of the organization to explain complex security policies and protocols.

Background in Security Technology: Knowledge of information security technology

5+ years of experience in Information Security (including but not limited to Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity, SOC Audits and Risk Management)

Preferred/Desired Qualification

CISSP Certification

Education

Bachelor’s degree
