- Develops application refactoring and re-platforming designs targeting AWS Commercial Cloud using IaaS and PaaS services
- Supports the creation of solution designs, options, ideas, and innovations for our customers.
- Implements the DevSecOps automation strategy using IaC\EaC, CI\CD, and Containerization technologies.
- Assists with converting application code and databases to modern languages and structures using automated tools.
- Integrates converted code, new databases, and interfaces into the modernized "cloud-native" application.
- Establishes project estimates and plans, identifies risks and mitigations, oversees development and delivery of technical solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
- AWS Cloud Certification
- 5+ years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of modern application design principles, Microservices, Containers, IaC, etc.
- Familiar using Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent to satisfy DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements
- DoD Secret security clearance or higher
- Experience working in Agile DevSecOps team environment.
- Experience working in DoD AF Cloud One environment.
- Working Knowledge of DoD DSO Platform One Program.
- Familiar with Microservices and componentized architectures.
- Familiar with application development using modern Object-Oriented languages Java, C#, etc.
- Experience migrating legacy IT applications to Cloud environment.
- Knowledge of IBM Tririga
