Sales Consultant (Furniture/Home Décor)
Overstock Furniture & Mattress has a great opportunity at store in Mobile, AL for people looking for a fast paced and high income potential sales position. Overstock Furniture & Mattress is an established furniture company that focuses on providing quality furniture to customers at affordable prices. If you have past retail or furniture related sales experience and are motivated by an uncapped commission plus base hourly salary ($10.00 Hour) opportunity, then this is a great position for you. Our Sales Team Members make an average of $2,500 to $3,500 Month ($16-$21 Hr Average). Medical Plan Benefit (Company Paid) available after 90 days of employment. We are currently accepting resumes for this position and hiring sales team members to start immediately. Store/Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00am-6:30pm, Saturday 10:00am-5:30pm, Sunday 12noon-5:00pm. No Early or Late Hours Position offers 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assisting Store Manager
Helping process product deliveries
Helping with store layout & staging
Meeting and greeting customers entering the store
Assisting customers through the product selection process
Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude
Entering sales, customer and product information into computer
Maintaining the showroom by fluffing pillows, aligning seat cushions, replacing missing price cards, etc.
Meeting monthly and daily established agreed upon sales goals through action plans to include planned appointments, product status calls and training initiatives
Attending all required sales training calls and sales meetings, including phone & off-site when needed or required
Ability to be on feet for an 8 hour shift
Willing and able to work overtime hours when needed
Ability to lift and move items (50 Lbs)
Basic computer knowledge & POS experience a plus
Must agree to background check
Valid Driver's License
