Our client, a large Industrial Manufacturer in the USA, is seeking skilled laborers/installers to work on a travel basis for the first 9-months to learn and gain skills in preparation for a brand new site build project in January 2025 located in Bay Minette, AL!
Entry/Mid-level position with training and room for growth!
WORK SCHEDULE
- First 9 months will entail travelling to jobsites and working with others to train and learn the skills and processes.
- January 2025 new site build/install begins in Bay Minette, AL and will run for 6+ weeks (then you would convert to a permanent employee!)
- Must be flexible, some weeks may include 12 hour days, up to 7 days a week (not all weeks will be this busy but must be open to working that schedule)
- Opportunity for project extension, or ultimate direct-hire
Duties:
- Physical Labor: lifting, moving items
- Technical skills: measuring (length, height, weight), assembling, hand tools, setting up machinery if needed
- Light welding (if experienced)
- Equipment ranges from forklifts, reach forklifts, compressors and jackhammers. Hand tools like saws, drills, wrenches etc.
Requirements/Preferred:
- Forklift Cert
- OSHA 10 Cert (Not required but preferred - Paid training available to certify)
- High School Education / GED
- Safety First attitude!
- Unmatched work ethic
- Openness to travel
- Ability to work 7-12's work schedule (REQUIRED )
- Ability to work on your feet, doing physical work, for that amount of time
- Ability to safely & consistently lift 25-50 lbs
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs on occasion
Pay: $27.00/hr Site Rate ($18.00/hr shop rate)
Schedule: 7 days/week 12-hour shifts starting at 7am (site work schedule)
Training: OSHA 10 training provided and reimbursed at $18/hr if you successfully complete and obtain the certification (if needed)
