This position is for an experienced Apartment Leasing Agent. It is part time (EVERY Saturday and Monday).
We are a locally owned and operated property management company who has been in business for over 50 years. This position is for a property located in Daphne, AL.
Candidate will be responsible for and must have experience in:
Leasing Apartments.
Handling telephone call inquiries and on-site traffic.
Following up on leads.
Showing “ready” Apartments.
Qualifying prospects.
Completing all related paperwork and activities to ensure a timely move-in.
Keeping organized and accurate resident paperwork in files.
Closing the lease.
Complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
Keeping show units looking their best.
Leaving detailed notes at the end of your shift for the Property Manager to read the next business day.
Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of apartment leasing experience.
High school diploma is required.
Must have an excellent attitude and a willingness to learn.
Must be dependable and show up on time for work.
Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, e-mail and a familiarity with the internet is required. Experience in Onesite a plus.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have excellent work references.
Must be able to work without supervision.
Must have a great personality and be able to interact with potential residents and residents daily.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screen upon applying.
