Growing DME company in Tillman’s Corner seeking a full time Medical Assistant / Customer Service Representative. Ideal candidate must have a positive attitude with exceptional customer service and communication skills. Brightree software experience a plus!
Job Description:
Answer phones.
Check for and respond to all emails that come in on the company team account.
Setup new patient accounts in the system.
Create a new patient file for all incoming documentation.
Verify insurance eligibility on patients, cross checking all orders, check for insurance copay’s and deductibles.
Call Doctor’s offices to make sure we have signed orders on file and other important documentation for billing purposes.
Create Delivery Orders in the system so new equipment can get delivered to patients.
Create Pickup Orders in the system so existing patients can have someone pickup equipment when it is no longer needed.
Ensure delivery person has all documentation needed for the patients to sign so we can bill insurance companies for their equipment.
Help customers who walk-in for retail or billing purposes.
