Key Functions:
Assist department leadership in leading a team of hourly associates to achieve excellence in Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Production.
Share responsibility in safely planning, organizing, and delivering operational objectives.
Work with the maintenance and electrical teams to troubleshoot potential issues.
Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Assist in facilitating growth & developmental opportunities for hourly team members.
Generate and maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, quality adjustments, etc.
Must be able to learn and train team members in multiple machine centers.
Coordinate activities between operations and maintenance.
Must be able to lead shifts when the Shift Supervisor is off or on vacation.
Schedule and lead team meetings & conduct routine trainings.
Must be willing to attend on-site and off-site training.
Shift posture could adjust to support business needs.
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Must personally complete the employment application
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical
Able to work overtime, holidays, weekends as well as night and rotating shifts
Able to perform labor-intensive work
Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment
Resume detailing education and work history, is preferred
Post Application Requirements:
Must be proficient in using Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and ActivPlant.
Must be able to follow as well as give instructions.
Must have good safety record / history.
Demonstrate ability to lead a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to conduct visual inspections of equipment, observe operators, perform basic preventive maintenance, and assist maintenance in troubleshooting / improving equipment.
Successful completion of pre-employment computer based testing
Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
