DONT DO IT
Let's call them Rough Edd. It Rymes with a company on here looking for installers to build Sheds. I feal like I need to warn you. Don't be fooled. They LURE you to make 3k to 5k a week. It won't happen. I was there for almost 3 months and never got more than 3 installs a week. Paying anywhere from 350.00 - 650.00. Remember, these are heavy. you will always need a helper. with that daily pay, you're still paying a helper, paying gas, your time to go to the shop and you have to load, and you tie down. Then drive to the house. You get NO say on what they assign you or where. No extra money for gas or the extra 3 - 4 hours per day to drive to shop, load and drive to client's house. Months of promise after promise of larger units, I kept asking for more work and larger units. Finally, I emailed and said if IM not going to get more work and larger builds, then it's not going to work out. They finally let me go and said, "I never promised you large builds" They need someone to do all the little kits, crap pay. From one contractor to another, making $50 - $150.00 day is not a business. Rember, you still have your daily expenses, daily time, daily wear and tear and your daily helper. No matter the size, there should be a minimum. You won't get it because you're just a sub. After sinking money in all the most expensive insurances that ARE REQUIRED (commercial auto, workers comp, general liability and a business licenses) also 7k in a trailer and about 4k in ladders, planks and tools because I was "promised" large builds and full-time work, it was the biggest loss in 20 years. I was also promised 18% of the sale price for install, but again later " I never said that" Half your day is not getting paid. In addition to pick up, loading YOUR SELF, delivery, leveling, installing, and hurricane tie downs on everything, you also have to paint everything and haul out all extra debris. NO full-time work and the pay is complete garbage. Again, you can't pick your builds or schedule or pay, they do that. DONT DO IT, The warehouse is a complete mess and completly unorganized, that creates more unpaid time to you. Without even joking, you can do better at Home depot or Walmart without spending thousands and working in the AC!
