Operates grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications. ● Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments to grind angles, contours, lines, spheres, etc. on to surface to completion.
● Performs checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition; report discrepancies to supervisor.
● Read and comprehend work orders, work instructions, blue prints as well as identify part numbers.
● Suggests changes in procedures, standards, to facilitate work and maintain quality.
● Maintains good housekeeping as well as complies with all safety and environmental requirements by strictly adhering to all safety and 5S standards and procedures at all times.
● Regular and reliable attendance at the job site.
● Other duties as assigned.
Assembles electrical wiring and components parts according to product specifications by following blueprints using a variety of hand and power tools and other assembly equipment.
· Read and comprehend work orders, blueprints, written and verbal work instructions as well as identify part numbers.
· Performs checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
· Use hand tools such as long nose pliers, side-cutters to perform work.
· Performs dimensional and visual inspection of parts, subassemblies and/or final product.
· Troubleshoots, repairs, align and test equipment.
· Suggests changes in procedures and standards to facilitate work and maintain quality.
· Maintains good housekeeping as well as complies with all safety and environmental requirements by strictly adhering to all safety and 5S standards and procedures at all times.
· Regular and reliable attendance at the job site is required.
Openings are on 2nd (Mon - Fri. 3:30pm - 12:00am) & 3rd shift (Sun.-Thurs. 10pm-6:30am)
