North American Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor in the United States. We are searching for a Commercial Roofing Service Helper or Assistant Repair Technician, located within the Decatur, AL area.
Purpose of the Job:
Assist with investigating and repairing a variety of low-slope roof types.
Job Duties:
Ability to help find and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs
Perform Service repairs as needed
Perform small contract jobs
Assist in performing inspections with minor preventative maintenance repairs
Assisting in resolving various issues
Assisting in all snow and hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervision
Ability to learn and operate service software (FCS)
Ability to provide accurate information into service software (FCS)
Skills and Qualifications:
Must have previous commercial roofing or commercial construction experience
Ability to obtain OSHA, Man-lift, and Forklift certifications will be required
Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs
Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow)
Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required
Must have a valid drivers license
Must pass criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
