Two years of experience working with a web content management system is preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Provides design, development, testing, maintenance, and oversight of departmental websites/ intranet sites and other similar web-based media to ensure optimal performance and availability.Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only): Works with staff to identify, deliver, develop, test, and maintain web pages and other media for the Institute for Homeland Security ( IHS ). Performs cross browser development and testing. Documents processes. Receives and responds to incoming communications regarding web and other media needs by IHS . Ensures Americans with Disability Act ( ADA ) compatibility for websites and related media. Performs other related duties as assigned.
