Day in the Life of a Proposal Writer
You’ll interview candidates and SMEs, and engage with fellow contributors to develop proposal artifacts that are clear, concise, persuasive, compliant, and compelling – just like a reporter!
You’ll ensure accurate content that is error free and aligned to RFx requirements, company process, capture strategies, and industry best practices.
You’ll peer review your teammates’ work, and they’ll review your work.
You’ll learn to be a reviewer in our formal color reviews— sharing your growing insight, knowledge, and expertise.
QualificationsYou Need to Have :
BA or BS degree or higher (or equivalent) in Journalism, English, Business, Information Technology, or Communication Arts, or other relevant fields and 3+ years of experience, or a Masters and 1+ year of experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3 years of solid Federal proposal writing experience, preferably solutions-based proposals.
Must be a US Citizen.
Minimal travel, up to 10% may be requested for high priority opportunities.
We Really Wish You Would Have:
Experience with FEDSIM and Self-Scoring bids a plus.
Knowledge of infrastructure modernization, applications/software development and sustainment, cloud solutions, warfighter solutions, and agile methodologies for defense, civilian, space, and National security sectors of the federal government.
