Qualified candidate will be part of an exceptional team supporting the Missile Defense System (MDS) Operational Test Agency (OTA) known for providing an independent operational assessment of the MDS capability to defend the United States, its deployed forces, friends, and allies against missiles of all ranges and in all phases of flight.Responsibilities: In this role, your primary responsibility will be to perform system interoperability analysis across all systems under test during both flight and ground test campaigns, working alongside test and analysis teams. Additionally, you will be tasked with reviewing and developing flight test, distributed, and integrated ground test assessment requirements.Key responsibilities include:

Collaborating with analysts to assess system interoperability, particularly focusing on Tactical Data Links (TDLs).

Assisting in the development of toolsets to capture assessable metrics in alignment with the overall Operational Test and Evaluation (OTA) Operational Analysis Plan (OAP).

Coordinating with stakeholders such as the Missile Defense Agency Test Directorate, the Joint Interoperability Test Command, and other cross-functional teams during pre-test planning and test execution.

Preparing and presenting test findings during post-mission data reviews.

In support of the OTA Test Team, you must possess a solid understanding of flight test and ground execution procedures with the Missile Defense Agency, along with familiarity with key documentation processes. These documents will be developed by the Test Lead and will play an essential role in ensuring comprehensive test execution and assessment, and they include but are not limited to:

Operational Test Plan

Deployment Plan

Operational Test Readiness Review

Initial Observation Report

Basic Qualifications:

You must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

You will need 7+ years of full-time professional experience.

You must possess or can obtain an active TS/SCI clearance.

You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Lacking any one of these qualifications may disqualify you from this job.Preferred Qualifications:

In depth knowledge of MILSTD 6016, MILSTD 3011, MILSTD 6120, and MDASTD-007.

Working knowledge of TDL planning, and related TDL planning documentation pertaining to Ballistic Missile Defense operations.

Working knowledge/experience in Missile Defense Operations to include Link-16, Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), AN/TPY-2 (FBM), Patriot, Aegis Ashore, and THAAD areas of operation.

Familiarization and experience with MDA testing procedures, execution, and operational testing.

Experience in real world Data Link management.
