Engineering Technician I (AX1362)

Education:High School Diploma or GED.Months/Years of Experience:Based on level of education and experience.Required Qualifications:One (1) year of applicable experience in engineering technical work that developed skills in making measurements using test instruments and computing; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school.Duties:Performing engineering technician tasks in support of aviation test programs. Supporting the testing of military assets using established methods and procedures. Performing mechanical modifications to various military assets. Preparation of test items including manual lifting/unpacking/packing of hardware. Performing work in a laboratory and outdoor setting. Capturing and documenting data using manual and IT formats from tests and test assets. Working with other testing labs in the organization through cross-functional training activities.Comments:Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as condition of employment.
