Translate business requirements into technology requirements and define data standards and principles, often in support of client's data, cloud and digital transformations strategies.
Design an enterprise data management framework for the processes used to plan, specify, enable, create, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control, and purge data.
Will provide the overall strategic vision for the data architecture for client by reducing redundancy, reduce data inaccuracies, standardize how data is stored, reduce duplication, enabling better quality and holistic analyses.
Provide the strategy and oversite of the planning and execution to improve data quality of the already poorly understood data to enable a modern data mesh that will improve data management and governance.
Eliminate the current siloed data among the disparate systems, enhance data autonomy and establish trusted data governance.
Ensures completion and compliance with deliverables to include data dictionary, entity relationship diagrams, data models and data documentation.
The Data Architect also through the architecting of the client data mesh is complimenting the adoption of cloud platforms and cloud-centered technologies.

Bachelor's Degree Required with majors in Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or business-related field preferred

7+ years of professional experience in systems/data engineering, ETL, Python, SQL
1+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering including GCP, Databricks, Snowflake
3+ years of experience in data management, data modeling, data quality and/or data architecture
