Responsible for administration of classified and unclassified systems and networks IAW applicable MDA and DoD guidance.

Ensures IT systems and networks are fully functional for all operational and support activities.

Implements IT processes and operations based on applicable MDA and DoD security provisions, technical guidance, and documented instructions.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining user accounts, profiles, privileges and overall network and system security.

Anticipates IT related issues and implements proactive preventive measures.

Develops, sustains, and updates documentation for Information Technology processes and procedures.

Performs regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries.

Maintains IT databases and performs programming tasks in relation to system administration.

Researches, evaluates, and recommends new and emerging IT systems technologies to advance and support program requirements.

Supports the work of other staff engaged in system administration functions.

Supports the integration and testing of complex large-scale networks.

Requirements:

Understanding of system administration tools, techniques, and methods.

Proficient in Windows Operating Systems 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

Fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP)

Must be able to work with minimal oversight and possess abilities to communicate effectively through all levels within the organization working closely with project leads and other team members

Must be a US Citizen and hold and maintain a government issued clearance.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

Up to 5 years of relevant work experience.

CompTIA Security+ certification

Secret Clearance
