Job Title: Acquisition Cost Analyst Location : Huntsville, AL This position is contingent upon award. Canvas, Inc. provides services to a diverse group of customers in the areas of Test and Evaluation, Engineering Services, Program & Acquisition Management, and Product Integration. Canvas, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Cost Analyst! In this role, you will be supporting the Assured Airspace Access Systems (A3S) Product Office. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Duties:

Develop cost-estimating models from data collected on programs managed by the PM A3S

Provide advice and technical assistance to functional specialists in identifying and evaluating program cost factors and cost impact on program alternatives, in the form of briefings and reports documenting the results of the analysis of system costs

Refine and adjust cost models in response to changes in technical specifications, support requirements, design alternatives, engineering, and operational trade-off proposals

Develop life cycle cost estimates to determine the total cost of the program

Analyze mission requirements to determine cost parameters, specific cost factors and relationships to be utilized in constructing cost models

Create or update model formats to include EXCEL spreadsheets or ACEIT cost estimating software that provide a base for the estimating equations and phased reports

Respond to cost reporting tasking requests

Required Experience & Skills:

PHD and 3 years of Cost Analysis/Estimating Experience, Masters Degree and 5 years of experience, Bachelors Degree and 7 years of experience, or Highschool Diploma and 11 years of experience

Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) experience is required

Outstanding communication, both written and verbal

Outstanding analytical skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving skills

Minimum knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and SharePoint. Additionally, preferred knowledge in Project Recon, Windchill and other applicable applications/processes used in Acquisition Management

Required Education:

High School Diploma with relevant experience

Clearance Level: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
