Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk in Huntsville, Alabama. This role primarily involves processing invoices, maintaining purchase orders, and other typical AP functions. Additional administrative tasks are also part of the role, requiring flexibility and a willingness to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Efficiently processing 80-100 invoices per week Running checks and maintaining purchase orders Conducting typical accounts payable duties with precision Demonstrating flexibility in taking on additional administrative tasks as required Ordering and stocking supplies for the office Assisting the field team as needed with their requirements Utilizing software such as Excel Reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate data entry Processing invoices in a timely and efficient manner Ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function within the team.Requirements Must have professional experience in an Accounts Payable role Proficient in account reconciliation Highly skilled in Accounts Payable (AP) processes Familiarity with check runs is essential Must have experience in coding invoices accurately Proficiency in data entry is a must Demonstrable experience in invoice processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Excellent problem-solving and communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload Must have a high school diploma or equivalentRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
