Administrative Assistant - Job description
We are a local company with about twelve employees. Looking for a recent college grad, who has an associates or bachelor’s degree, who is interested in being trained in business administration. The ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills; uses Excel, Word, Power Point, and Quick books; and, is comfortable using standard office equipment.
Responsibilities
Candidate will be trained to be able to do the following:
o organize paperwork
o communicate by email and phone calls with clients and prospective clients
o handle occasional errands for the company away from the office
o expand their knowledge of the company’s domestic and international operations
o research new products
o provide creative input and suggestions
Skills
Light accounting
Working knowledge of office equipment
Uses MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and QuickBooks.
Has excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Pays attention to detail
Has good written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
