Summary:
There are immediate openings for both cnc and manual machinists with the Triosim Corporation in Carrollton GA. This company works in a variety of industries but focuses primarily in the pulp and paper industry.
Applicants for this position will be performing CNC machining duties from set ups, to tool changes to G&M Code programing. Applicants will be operating a CNC Lathe/Mill in the custom machining shop.

Essential Functions:
Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Competencies:
Lay out, set up, adjust and operate CNC lathe/mill.
Maintains product specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, and facing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; calling for repairs.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Create, edit, and store program files for Fanuc programs
Must be willing to operate manual equipment such as lathe, mill, and drill.
Must be able to handle multiple projects and work independently
Must be able to read measuring instruments, hold tolerances, and generate desired surface finishes.
Knowledge of speeds and feeds, proper tool selection and machine strategies that avoid unnecessary machining
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and perform quality checks as needed.

Industrial environment. Paper and steel mills.
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity, accommodation and color vision
Moving, carrying, lifting, objects in excess of 50 lbs
Climbing and working off of ladders, stairs, and scaffolding in excess of 100 ft.
Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time
Work in indoors and out door environments in conditions of extreme heat and cold
Work in and near industrial hazards.
Position Type / Hours:
Full time. Typically 8 hours on 1st, 2nd &3rd shift M-F

Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years CNC programming experience, Mastercam programming experience is a plus. G&M Code programming on Fanuc controls.
Preferred Education/ Experience:
Some college preferred
Technical background desired
