Ambassador Personnel is hiring a Fabrication Floater to work 1st shift in the Pinckard, AL area. Position is 1st shift 6am – 4pm Monday- Thursday but must be available to work overtime if needed. This is a great opportunity with a growing company!
Job Duties:
Produce parts and tools from metal or materials using a press brake
Look at blueprints or plans for the finished product
Make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut
Make sure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product
Make sure machines are working at full capacity and well-maintained
Perform periodic checks on output, ensuring it is defect free and ready for the next step in production
Machines operating press brake, laser, and saw mill with some welding
Skills needed:
Experience with CNC press brakes
Welding experience
Problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Mechanical and technical skills
Physical ability and endurance to stand and bend over a long period of time
Stamina working long hours doing repetitive movements
