Always the right career direction.Job Description SummaryDesign, build, construct, maintain, repair and renovate facilities owned and/or operated by Southeast Health, in a cost efficient manner, to ensure that our patients are provided quality care in a safe and comfortable environment, by following Southeast Health’s policies and procedures, adhering to building and safety codes.Job DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent desired;

Good Leadership ability;

At least ten (10) or more years experience in construction;

Good eye sight;

Valid drivers license;

General knowledge of State and Local Building Codes and Life Safety codes;

General computer knowledge Knowledge of Departments/Offices/Outside Clinics are located;

Dexterity for operating various drills, power saws and other electrical related equipment;

Ability to read and construct from blue print specifications;

Ability to work constructively with other team members.

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;

Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation;

Must be able to promote positive behavior in others;

Ability to utilize the internet, intranet and email;

Ability to utilize radio and paging system.

SKILLS:

Able to lead team to task completion;

Complete work requestors (WOSYST) in a timely manner documenting and closing out by computer;

Maintain a professional appearance and attitude following policy and procedures of Southeast Health, wearing ID badge at all times;

Able to build from prints and drawings and work with CADD office to complete projects;

Ability to talk with Department Heads, Supervisors, etc. and offer ideas and suggestions on how to plan and build to meet needs of their department;

Communicate and work with other shops when building and renovating in regards to electrical, plumbing, computers, walls, ceiling work, and floor maintenance;

Ability to communicate and coordinate with teams, contractors and customers in a professional manner.
