Peeler Operator (Swing Shift)

Purpose of Position:Peeler Operator is responsible for removal of casings (peeling) from fully cooked wieners in an efficient manner, feeding continuous strands of wieners through a peeling machine and unloading rods from base chiller using proper equipment and procedures. This role works closely with the department supervisors, other department leads and processing TEAM members, in order to accomplish accuracy within the processing department and to ensure that our customers receive quality products.Essential Functions:Remove casings (peeling) from fully cooked wieners in an efficient manner, feeding continuous strands of wieners through a peeling machine.Unload rods from chiller.Adhere to Personal Protective Equipment properly.Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.            Must work in safe manner.Other duties, as assigned.
