We provide the resources, encouragement and focus and if you have the passion, we want to build a better tomorrow with you!Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Aide to join our team in Courtland, AL !Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Create and analyze 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions.- Perform in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layout for assemblies.- Shop floor support, investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.- Engineering change implementation and coordinating changes in the build process within an electrical/mechanical manufacturing facility.- Review engineering drawings and manufacturing work instructions.- Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.-Ensure that the customer requirements are implemented and review change accounting activity with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.- Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.Basic Qualifications:- Manufacturing experience- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and modelsDesired Skills:- Associate Degree in Engineering-related field or related experience- Experience using or viewing 3D models- Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environmentClearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
