With your expertise in chemical engineering and process optimization, you will contribute to the development and improvement of our manufacturing procedures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and quality. You will report directly to our Chemical Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Chickasaw, Alabama location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our chemical manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success and growth of our company. Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity

Participate in site HSE and process safety management programs, including management of change, process hazard analysis, root cause analysis/incident investigations, and development of standard operating procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements

Analyze data, troubleshoot and identify trends for optimization using PI, DCS, Minitab and other data collection processes

Provide accurate, timely forecasts to plant finance to help meet financial commitments

Develop and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance and operational excellence

Bridge multiple layers of organization between management and front-line workers to deliver plant safety and production objectives

Mentor and train operations staff on unit design and intended/optimal operation. Assist operations department in troubleshooting plant operations issues

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

2+ years of experience in chemical process engineering

2+ years of experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) or related criteria including MOC, PSSR and PSI.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Independently driven, internally motivated and strong sense of ownership of their assigned processes

WE VALUE

Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a regulated environment

Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement

Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies

Familiarity with chemical manufacturing processes

Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques
