You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Risk Information Technology and Data Analyst is a key member of the Innovation and IT and Data Risk Management organization and performs activities consistent with the second line of defense. This position will influence enterprise innovation and conduct IT and Data risk identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting activities in accordance with the enterprise strategy and enterprise risk appetite.Primary Responsibilities

Assists in conducting key tasks and/or projects to perform IT and Data Risk Assessments, Advisory Reviews, Project Assessments, 3rd Party Testing, and other project reviews as identified across all aspects of Information Technology and Data, including application development, cyber security, enterprise architecture, business continuity and disaster recovery, data governance, data quality, and change management, etc.

Remains abreast of innovative business and technology trends in IT and Data security, risk, security, and controls and advise leadership on technology and data initiatives that support these trends

Manages relationships with key stakeholders within strategic business groups and technology to ensure effective execution of the risk management framework

Performs deep dives on IT and Data security-related processes and systems

Identifies applicable regulatory risks from changes or releases to regulatory guidance and requirements and provide subject matter expertise for resolution and risk mitigation

Manages targeted reviews of internal risk and control assessments on current and/or emerging IT and Data risks

Develops, tracks, and reports on Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) for Information Technology

Monitors, tracks, and reports mitigation and resolution of IT and Data risk issues

Develops and manages reporting to effectively communicate key risks, findings, and recommendations for improvement and discuss results with key stakeholders

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Six (6) years of experience in IT, system development, information security and/or data governance/quality

Understanding of risk management functions, including IT and audit, cyber security, and compliance

Preferences

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)

Experience in a financial institution or public accounting

Knowledge of third-party/vendor management lifecycle

Skills and Competencies

Ability to learn additional systems as needed

Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts

Ability to work in a team environment when applicable

Ability to work under moderate guidance

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
