The Network Administrator is responsible for the performance, security, and reliability of network infrastructure across all PS Logistics companies and locations. This hands-on role involves configuring, monitoring, and maintaining routers, firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless systems in a multi-vendor enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing technical depth with proactive communication. In addition to supporting Fortinet, WatchGuard, Meraki, Cradlepoint, Starlink, and NVIDIA Onyx technologies, the Network Administrator will manage CVE-based patching, firewall rule creation, VPN setup, and secure network access using RADIUS authentication. This role requires regular participation in operational monitoring and alert response, collaborating daily with IT team members to review infrastructure health, respond to system alerts, and ensure high uptime. They will also serve as a regional point of contact for network-related outreach, supporting remote site coordination and responding to needs at locations across the PS Logistics footprint. The position includes participation in IT projects, vulnerability management efforts, and active engagement in cross-team communication channels to ensure smooth IT operations. Travel and participation in an on-call rotation are required. Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, access points, and VPN appliances.

Administer and support FortiGate (including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer), WatchGuard (System Manager, AuthPoint, Dimension), Meraki, Cradlepoint, Starlink, and NVIDIA Onyx switches.

Monitor system and network health using PRTG, responding to alerts related to availability, CPU load, connectivity, and tunnel status.

Report on infrastructure performance and contribute to daily IT team syncs with insight into system health, remote access stability, and firewall behavior (e.g., FortiVPN, WatchGuard VPN).

Coordinate with remote locations to support regional IT infrastructure, circuit issues, and user connectivity.

Manage firewall policies, NAT rules, port forwarding, VLAN configuration, and DHCP reservations across platforms.

Administer Windows NPS (RADIUS) for Meraki 802.1X wireless authentication and secure access control.

Implement and maintain network security policies, including responding to CVE alerts, applying security patches, and sharing vulnerability intelligence with the team.

Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, IP schemas, firewall configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for circuit installation, troubleshooting, and billing review.

Support infrastructure projects, DR planning, and configuration backup and recovery processes.

Travel to company sites for infrastructure setup and support as needed.

Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours response to network issues or outages.

Actively contribute to team communication channels (e.g., Teams) for coordination, status reporting, and collaboration on ongoing support and project efforts.
