Description We are in need of a Customer Success Specialist in the Financial Services industry, based in Birmingham, Alabama. This role will focus on processing loan applications, maintaining clear lines of communication with various stakeholders, and ensuring smooth customer transactions. Responsibilities: Collect all necessary paperwork to send to underwriters for home loan approval Maintain consistent communication with internal underwriters, borrowers, and retailers Coordinate with underwriters and customers to clarify any questions about required documents Utilize company software for mortgage system management, including Excel, Word, and Email Provide excellent customer service through effective communication both verbally and via email Maintain a high level of organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Gain proficiency in loan processing procedures and industry-specific software through on-the-job training Foster relationships with borrowers and retailers through regular phone interactions Assist in resolving any issues or inquiries related to customer credit accounts Perform duties to collect delinquent payments when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role within the financial services industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse clientele Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is highly desirable Knowledge of financial products, banking procedures, and the financial market trends Ability to provide customer support through various channels such as phone, email, and social media High level of professionalism and a customer-oriented approach Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Willingness to continuously learn about new products and services to provide accurate information to customers Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player.
