IT Administrator

As an IT Administrator, you will provide technical assistance to Daxko team members, support Daxko’s Site Reliability Engineers with daily operational tasks, and help install, upgrade, and troubleshoot computer and A/V hardware and software. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude, the ability to give clear technical instructions along with a strong willingness to learn how to explain high-level technical solutions to other internal Daxko team members. Additionally, you should be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques. ➡️ ➡️ This is an onsite position, working from our Birmingham, AL office up to 5 days per week. In your day-to-day, you will: Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking issues Walk internal customers through installing applications, computer peripherals, and connecting to production-related environments Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions Conduct remote troubleshooting Test alternative pathways until issues are resolved Customize desktop applications to meet user needs Develop and keep up-to-date internal documentation around responsible task(s) Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel Follow up with internal clients to ensure their systems and tools are functional Identify gaps in processes and communication and develop/assist with streamlining these processes
