Description A company in the Birmingham area is looking to add an Executive Assistant to their team. The Executive Assistant will serve as the right hand to the Partner, providing high-level administrative support, managing complex schedules, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is polished, highly organized, and thrives in an entrepreneurial, high-pressure setting. Prior executive assistant experience in finance, private equity, investment banking, or a similar fast-paced environment is required.Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive executive support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling travel arrangements (domestic and international).

Act as a gatekeeper, prioritizing and managing emails, calls, and requests.

Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, including briefing documents and follow-ups.

Oversee expense reporting, vendor coordination, and other administrative duties.

Liaise with internal teams, investors, and external stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.

Anticipate the Partner’s needs and proactively address potential issues.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives, preferably in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or a similar financial services industry.

Proven ability to manage complex calendars, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Highly resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently.

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

High level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential matters.

Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant business tools.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
