Responsibilities
Hours: 5x8's, Monday- Friday, 40+ hours
Reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting lumber, assembling wall panels and roof trusses, nailing lumber together to build walls and roofs, erecting scaffolding, supervising other workers on the site, and ensuring the structural frame of a building is properly constructed according to specifications.
Job Posting Qualifications
Be at least 18+ years of age
Blueprint reading, accurate measuring, math skills, physical strength, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, communication, and the ability to work quickly under pressure while following plans precisely; essentially, understanding and interpreting blueprints to accurately cut and assemble framing lumber to create the structure of a building
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the commercial field required
Prior experience using Hand tools, Power tools, Tape Measures, Squares required
Position may require a drug screen
The hourly rate for this position is 25-$28/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
