Immediate Opportunity for Generator Maintenance Techs
We have an immediate need for Generator Preventative Maintenance Techs. We have been awarded a contract to perform preventative maintenance (PM) for cell tower generators in your area. The basic scope of work is as follows:
Site Inspection
Oil Filter Change
Fuel Filter Change
Generator Run Test
Starter Battery Test (Change if required - for additional pay)
Generator Refuel (If necessary - for additional pay)
Fuel hose inspection (Replace if necessary - for additional pay)
Digital Equipment Battery Changes
Smart Phone Reporting and Confirmation of work done on site
Experienced techs average 5-10 generator PMs per full day of work. This can be a part-time opportunity as well. SEG will provide on-call guidance to help get you trained on your first few PMs. It doesn't take long to learn the basics of this job - once you have the basics down, it becomes about finding your efficiences. The more you complete, the more you make.
The qualified candidate will have the following:
Pickup truck with a Transfer Tank (Diesel) with metered pump
Basic Mechanical Tools
Ability to Change Engine Oil
Great attention to detail.
An overall professional attitude and willingness to learn.
