The nation's premier fresh fruit DSD company is seeking an additional market representative for deliveries of fresh fruit to convenience stores on an established route in and around the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa area.
No calling on unestablished clients, and you will not be responsible for collecting payments of any kind.
If you enjoy driving and having a somewhat flexible schedule, you could be the person we want!
As a merchandise representative, you will be responsible for an established route of stores that will be visited up to twice per week. Routes are typically serviced on an alternating schedule every 5 days. One week is Monday/Friday and the following week is only Wednesday. The hours are flexible, but we recommend early mornings.
-Couples and teams are welcome.
-Previous DSD Merchandising experience is a plus but not required.
-We use smart technology, so please be comfortable using phones, tablets, etc.
-Must have enclosed vehicle: Prius, Hatchbacks, and most SUVs or the like are preferred. (Sorry, no single cab trucks or cars with trunks)
-An average day is 8-9 hours. Delivery times are somewhat flexible, but days are not.
-This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Each route will have a weekly guarantee paid during your training period (12 weeks for this market)
-We pay every Thursday via direct deposit.
