Machine Operators and Production Workers are critical to growing business success and helping our customers delight their customers by making quality products. In this specific position you will:

◦Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment at a standard that meets or exceeds all internal and external customer requirements

◦Work in a manufacturing environment following appropriate policies and procedures to ensure successful execution of position responsibilities.

◦Maintains daily production and quality records, operates the equipment in a safe manner, and keeps the work area clean

◦Understanding of filler and packing functions of the machine and ability to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments.

◦Other duties as assigned

Machine Operator Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Sanitation Workers are critical to growing business success and helping our customers delight their customers by ensuring we provide safe and quality products. In this job, you will:

◦Clean lint, dust, oil, and grease from all production equipment, removing parts as needed and putting the equipment back together for all production lines. Also responsible for cleaning overhead pipes and conveyors

◦Clean all processing tanks and vats, as well as cleaning or changing out filters as required

◦Assist with maintaining daily operational production efficiency and sanitation duties. Assist with maintenance of all sanitation related equipment

◦Clean floor using sanitation chemicals as required, transporting trash and other waste to the disposal area

◦Actively participate in the training of new hires and/or transfers

◦Complete all required paperwork, accurately and timely

◦Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety procedures, company policies, quality policies and procedures, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points as they apply to this position

◦Operate forklift or hand lift to transport materials as needed

◦Communicate problems or concerns with appropriate personnel

Sanitation Worker Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

1 or more years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred

Mixers (2nd and 3rd shift) are critical to growing business success and helping our customers delight their customers by making quality products. In this job, you will:

◦Perform pre-shift preparation and ensure that all surfaces that will contact product (piping, utensils, vessels) are sanitized and ready for operation. Record data on the mixer SIS form

◦Follow batch sheet without deviation while mixing product. Any deviation must be approved. All deviations recorded on the batch adjustment sheet

◦Makes necessary approved adjustments, monitors gauges, equipment and temperatures. Keep records of batches made, ingredients used, and records processing parameters. Supply a product sample, as required, to Quality Control (QC) for testing and approval for packing.

◦Read daily production schedule and process orders in the established sequence. Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and turn in to appropriate personnel, fill out work orders as needed

◦Constant communication with spicers, QA and machine operators

◦Ensure that machine operators have produced the correct number of cases for each order

◦Manage rework to ensure proper rework instructions are followed

◦Post operation, housekeeping and closing out a shift properly. Handoff to sanitation or the next shift

Mixer Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

1 or more years of experience in a food manufacturing environment

Palletizers are critical to growing business success and helping our customers delight their customers by making quality products. In this job, you will:

◦Set up and assembles palletizer for production run

◦Set the number and pattern for each pallet and each order. Ensure that product is properly stacked on pallets by following the designated pallet patterns, minimizing or avoiding overhang, stacking cases straight, stacking cases without leaning and cross-tying tiers, as required. Visually inspect shippers prior to stacking for unsealed cases, damaged cases, stained cases, and cases with illegible, incorrect, or missing code dates

◦Quality inspection of each individual pallet before transfer to shipping ensuring that they are not dirty, have broken or missing boards, have protruding nails or are wet. Ensure that product is stacked on the correct pallet (CHEP, Grade A White, Phytosanitary, etc.). Transport pallets with a pallet-jack

◦Maintains operational sanitation including trash removal and re-boxing of damage, as assigned

◦Assist in loading tape onto tape machines and adjusting tape machines. Operate a semi-automatic shrink-wrap machine to ensure that pallets are properly wrapped

◦Maintains documentation of production output

◦Communicates and shifts handoff to oncoming operator

◦Good transactional discipline. Accurate scanning of productions cases produced

Palletizer Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

1 or more years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
