Experienced Diesel Mechanics Wanted in Birmingham, ALPosition Details:Location: Birmingham, ALSchedule:Monday thru Friday - One Saturday per month - 1:30 PM to MidnightPay:$30.00 per hour plus overtime - Average 60-65 hours per weekJob Duties:Troubleshoots vehicle and equipment operations problems, diagnoses and subsequently makes repairsPerforms preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment according to standard schedules.Adjusts, repairs or replaces parts and equipment.Attends safety meetings and classes.Maintains tools and equipment.Maintains a safe and tidy shop.Welds and fabricates parts as needed.Performs related duties as assigned.Requirements:Knowledge of vehicle and equipment operation and maintenance principles.5+ Years Experience RequiredKnowledge of vehicle and equipment diagnostics and repair principles.Skills in the use of tools and equipment used in the maintenance of vehicles and equipment.Skill in oral and written communication.Skill in weldingSkill in troubleshooting and identifying problems and in devising related solutions,To apply, please send your resume to [email protected] or call Aidan @ 866-808-1189
