Type of Position: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Medical Laboratory Technician Job Description:
A private practice in Hoover, AL is seeking a highly motivated individual with Laboratory experience for the position of Medical Laboratory Technician/ in a Physician Office Laboratory, running a urine drug screen analyzer. This is a Part Time position, daylight flexible hours, 13 hours per week.
Job Requirements:
Have earned a minimum of an Associates degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution
Experience in a High or Moderate Complexity Laboratory setting for at least one year
Must have the ability to work as a team member, with limited supervision as necessary
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze samples
Verify lab results
Maintain the instrument, reagents and samples
Review QC & Calibration data (daily/weekly)
Perform proficiency testing
Excellent communication with the Laboratory Director
Benefits:
Salary $20-$25/hr based on experience
