Job Description:
As a hospitality representative for our 4 vacation rentals we have in Birmingham, you'll be in charge of the following tasks:
Quality Control of cleans: you will go in after the cleaners have finished to document the clean with photos/videos and verify every task on the checklist has been completed. You may need to do some minor cleaning if the cleaning team did not perform the task to our standards (only if there is no time to get them back in before the next guests arrive).
Amenity refresh/inventory: you will top up any/all amenities for the next group of guests (shampoo, hand soap, goodie bag, etc), check that the cleaner closet is left well organized, and inventory/order supplies for the house.
Tech check: make sure the TV's are all set to the correct network/settings, welcome message, batteries are good, etc.
Use our expense account to create a unique a unique welcome gift/message/experience for the next group checking in.
Social media: (we will train you but you must be open to learning!) create content of the experiences you create as well as any other content opportunity by editing video reels for instagram/tik-tok, etc.
Personally welcome the guests when they arrive, and show them around the house to give them all the information they need to know. This is also a chance to share your knowledge of Birmingham by suggesting activities/places they may like to take a look at!
You may be asked to do other tasks if your schedule allows, like grocery shopping for guests, running errands for them, etc.
Job Requirements:
Must be available to work a few hours any day of the week (including weekends which is when our rentals are the busiest). Most of the work will occur between the hours of noon-5pm. You won't be working every day of the week, mostly only when we have check-outs and check-ins.
Must be available to work 2-20 hours a week (depends on if it's high season/low season)
Must have reliable transportation
Must be well groomed and dress business casual when meeting guests
Must be very detail oriented and organized
Must be able to read and comprehend well
Must be relatively tech savvy with your phone/apps/smart TV's
