Summary The Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate, recruit, educate and manage a volunteer base for the benefit of the hospital. Assists with Policy Manuals as assigned. Displays a high degree of independent judgment and self-direction. Qualifications
High school graduate or GED, having completed courses in typing and business preferably.
Must have experience in front line customer satisfaction position.
Must have 1-3 years experience in volunteerism or working with volunteers.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to type 35 wpm.
Must demonstrate an overall knowledge of ancillary departments' functions within a hospital.
Demonstrates knowledge and experience with personal computer and applications preferably Word and Excel.
