Description We are offering an opportunity for a meticulous Credit Clerk to join our team in Auburn, Washington. The role is centered around managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate credit records, and handling customer inquiries. The Credit Clerk will also oversee customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect overdue payments. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our office environment. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Resolve customer credit inquiries and disputes professionally and efficiently Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate actions to collect overdue payments Answer incoming calls and direct them as necessary Receive and process shipments Perform light collections tasks as required Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties Code invoices accurately and send out reports to customers Perform backlog adjustments and manage office supplies Conduct 3-way matching for vendor invoices and purchase orders Handle year-end tasks such as billing as much as possible and closing out accounts Enter data into Oracle and other accounting software systems Exhibit a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach in all interactions Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook proficiently. Skills: Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook Understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing Functions Exceptional Customer Service skills Experience with Oracle Ability to Enter Vendor Invoices Experience with Receptionist Duties.
