If you are passionate about personal and professional growth and see yourself as a key player contributing to our continued success by working in our award-winning company – we would love to hear from you.SummaryThe position of Maintenance Data Clerk/Analyst has primary responsibility for supporting all facets of the Maintenance Management System as well as procurement of critical spare parts to support operational requirements. Building and managing internal and external relationships is critical for success and should be consistent with Champions core values, company policies, and quality standards. Supports company initiatives to achieve goals and objectives set by our vision to be “The Global Leader in Advancing Premium Food for Pets.”Responsibilities
Demonstrate awareness and compliance of all policies, practices, and procedures.
Develop/maintain database for Maintenance Management System.
Generate and record all Preventative Maintenance Work Orders into system.
Record all other work order types into the system (breakdowns, planned, safety, environmental).
Generate downtime and part usage reports upon request (including MTTR and MTBF).
Organize and maintain critical spare parts and related inventories for the Maintenance Department.
Generate purchase order requisitions.
Purchase spare parts to maintain inventory requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counting.
Analyze part usage and make necessary changes to MRO levels when needed.
Expedite parts with vendors on critical parts and non - stock items.
Reconcile invoice and matching edit discrepancies.
Develop and implement strategies for creating or improving parts processes and procedures that will improve manufacturing performance
Participate in departmental budget development
Develop and demonstrate awareness and understanding of corporate policies, practices and procedures as they relate to health and safety in the workplace and to the environment and commit to personal compliance with same
Support and represent the Company in community sponsored events.
Perform other duties, as required or assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Five or more years` previous experience in an MRO Tool Crib environment.
Three or more years` previous experience with Maintenance Management Systems.
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills, with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all areas of work.
Self-directed, with ability to work successfully both independently and within a team environment
Ability to identify key issues; and to creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong inter-personal skills with solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and ability to work successfully with diverse groups
Adaptability and flexibility to work successfully in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Computer competency in Microsoft Office Suite
