Lead Patient Service Representative

JOB SUMMARY The Lead Patient Service Representative serves as an ambassador and point of contact for practices or patients in our community who are making referrals to or within CCS. They are also responsible for managing those referrals between the CCS programs and maintaining an effective system for referral tracking. In addition, they assist with scheduling new patient appointments and other assigned projects. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION

High School or GED required

Must successfully complete a medical terminology class within six months of hire

EXPERIENCE

Experience in a medical setting is preferred, but not mandatory

Working knowledge of office practice and procedures is a plus

Excellent administrative, management, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to relate professionally with employees, and administrators, to develop and maintain positive working relationships

Effective use of telephone skills

Good command of the English language
