Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to be based in Auburn, WWA, United States. The role involves engaging with customers, processing orders, and managing the filing system for completed orders and payments. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity within the construction industry. In this role, you will be interacting with contractors, greeting visitors to the office, and managing inventory.Responsibilities: Assist customers with their orders and collect payments at Will Call Perform receptionist duties such as greeting customers, creating new orders, and answering phone calls. Collaborate with drivers to schedule pickups and deliveries, sometimes months in advance Manage the filing system for completed orders and payments Keep maintenance up to date on current orders so repair workflow can be prioritized to meet customer demands Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and other tasksRequirements Proficiency in customer service is required, including experience in handling and resolving customer inquiries and complaints Experience in answering inbound calls is necessary, as well as making outbound calls as required Proficiency in data entry is essential, including maintaining customer databases and entering new customer information Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is needed for creating reports, managing data, and drafting correspondence Experience in order entry is required, including processing customer orders accurately and promptly Receptionist duties experience is mandatory, including welcoming customers, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments Knowledge of the construction industry is an advantage, to understand customer needs and provide relevant solutions Experience in order picking and order fulfillment is necessary, including picking items for orders, packing products, and preparing packages for shipment Candidates should be proficient in handling both inbound and outbound calls Prior experience as a receptionist is a plus, with a focus on customer service and maintaining high standards of professionalism.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
