The position is responsible for planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and supervision, coordination and management of all practice support activities. This position has a dotted- line, matrix management coordination responsibility to Management staff – including market dyad leadership, Quality, DataRAP, Clinical Operations, ELT and PLT. The responsibilities of this position demands a wide range of capabilities including: strategic planning and analysis skills; understanding of managed care; management breadth to direct and motivate; highly developed communication skills; and the ability to develop clear action plans and drive process, given often ambiguous issues with numerous interdependencies. This individual will also be the Vendor Relationship Owner (VRO) for any vendor solutions executed for the Market. The Director, PSU Operations is responsible for providing strategic guidance to PSU team and will ensure consistency among training, standard operating procedures and policies.Primary Responsibilities:

Oversight oftheplanning, organization and direction ofthe activities ofthePSU team

Provides supervision, development, mentoring,and evaluation to PSU staff

Participates in strategicand operational planning(includingbudgetingandforecasting) for themarket

Ensures oversight ofmarket complianceprocedures and ensures documented processes exist to validatelicensuresareadequateforPSUstaff

Track and trend outcomes ofvarious PSU initiatives throughout the market and collaborate with the Enterprise PSU on best practices

Develop strategies to assist with overall corporategoals and initiatives

Assists market in achievingQRAmetrics and improving engagement ofour DNG network

Responsible for local hiringofhigh qualitystaff, providingtrainingand implementingeffectiveoperatingprocedures toassurethat PSUservicesand WellMed are represented professionally

Analyzes data to aid continual process improvement

Responsible for ensuring market level corrective action plans are being followed and escalating deficiencies as necessary

Establishes a standardized reporting program for PSU operations and defines the various formats for documenting action plans

Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degreein HealthcareorBusiness Administration, Nursing ora related fieldpreferred

6+ years ofregional orsenior-level experiencein medical practicemanagement orotherhealthcare related field

3+ years of experience working with senior and executive leadership

3+ years of management experience, including employee selection, training, coaching and developing

Experience with Risk Adjustment

Strong understanding of medical care delivery

Abilityto develop and present comprehensivereports

Abilitytoeffectivelycommunicate (both writtenand verbal)in aprofessional manner

Proficiencyin basiccomputersystems and applications

P r e f er r ed Qualifications:

Registered NurseorLPN / LVNlicensure

Morethan sixyears ofdirectlyrelated experiencein medical practicemanagement or healthcarerelated fieldspecialized in HEDIS / Stars improvement
