OverviewWalsh is currently seeking a Senior Superintendent for the Healthcare Building Division in Dallas, TX. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:

Planning and implementing construction means/methods for all aspects of residential high-rise projects, schedules, productivity innovations, and site logistics in the Dallas area

Selection of field site personnel

Monitoring job costs and productivity on projects

On-site co-ordination of manpower, materials and equipment

Developing, monitoring and executing the project construction plan and schedule

Supervising, training, coaching and mentoring field personnel

Demonstrating commitment to Walsh Safety and Quality programs

Organizing and coordinating all subcontractor activities

Project close-out; responsible for final inspections, deficiencies, warranty work and site demolition

Working with the Owners to ensure the projects are being built in accordance with the contract documents

Participates in development and review of work plans for major/high-risk activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent

10-15 years of industry experience;

Experience with projects over $40M

Previous healthcare experience required

Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skill

Ability to use tact, discretion, good judgment, initiative, self-expression

Ability to think clearly, retain information, analyze problems, and handle multiple tasks

Strong leadership and can motivate a team

Primavera or ability to create bar chart schedules in Excel

AutoCAD, HCSS/Timberline, P6, and Prolog experience desired
