The Shipping Department personnel provide support services to the production floor. This support includes routinely going around to the departments to review job orders staged for shipping as well as to determine the impact for orders in process. Shipping Department personnel are expected to process orders (weigh, scan, and print labels) as well as communicate issues specific to customer expectations associated with the desired receipt of goods. The goal is to resolve issues in real time while moving the finished goods from production through the shipping process in a seamless manner. The daily routine will require the candidate to be on their feet nearly 100% of the time and includes walking, standing, reaching, lifting, stooping or bending.
