THE POSITION

The Allegheny County is currently on the lookout for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Administrative Officer 1. We are in search of an individual who is not only robust and self-motivated but also excels in organizational skills and is a standout leader in providing top-notch customer service representation. This position will be a part of a dynamic team of Administrative Officers within the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, specifically in the Office of Administration, Bureau of Contracts and Compliance.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Administrative Officer 1, Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Administration (OA), Bureau of Contracts and Compliance (BCC), under the general supervision of the Manager, Contracts, performs administrative contract and grant management functions by coordinating the development, preparation, assembly, distribution, receipt, processing, status and control of contracts and grant agreements funded by a wide variety of public and private revenue sources, including but not limited to the federal government, state government and private foundations, including contracts and grants for treatment services, which are program funded, fee-for-service, private licensed facilities (PLF's), consultants, and ambulance services in excess of seven hundred (700) contracts and grant agreements and four hundred (400) modifications processed annually.
