support of various hospitals and health care systems within the UNC Health Care
System, but will be employed by Rex Hospital, Inc. (this includes, but is not
limited to, for purposes of payroll, health benefits, retirement options, and
applicable policies)HCS System Administrator Senior will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience with
Image management and Software Packaging/Deployment best practices in a
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment.Responsibilities:
Building
and maintaining standard desktop images such that they meet customer,
technical, and Information Security requirements- including but not
limited to application, driver, and bios version control.
Building,
deploying, and maintaining software packages to HealthCare
System endpoints. These packages may be built/deployed as part
of standard operating procedures for version control, or may be done
urgently during non-business hours to mitigate risks posed by
exploits.
The
HCS System Administrator Senior will work with vendors to understand
timelines and impacts of new hardware platforms, and application owners to
coordinate testing of standard applications on new operating
systems.
Candidate will also help
optimize interface between SCCM and ITSM tool and build SCCM reports for
leadership consumption. Microsoft SCCM Certification preferred.Experience in some or
all of the following is also preferred:
Active
Directory, Group Policy
TCP/IP,
DNS, DHCP
Virtual
Desktop Infrastructure
Additional enterprise technologies
such as: remote endpoint management, antivirus, data encryption
tools, and scripting.
Candidate should have
excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, experience working in a
clinical environment, and be capable of lifting 50 lbs. May be
responsible for providing direction to colleagues in areas of subject matter
expertise.Candidate may also be part of an on call
rotation that may include onsite service during evenings, nights, weekends and
holidays.QualificationsEducation
Requirements:Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or
equivalent combination of education, training and experience).Licensure/Certification
Requirements:No
licensure or certification required.Professional
Experience Requirements:If
a Bachelor's degree: Five (5) years of direct experience.If
an Associate's degree: Nine (9) years of direct experience.If
a High School diploma or GED: Thirteen (13) years of direct experience.Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities Requirements:Excellent
analytical and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
