Northern Bergen County high quality renovation/remodeling company seeks experienced, reliable, team player for a full-time Design Assistant position. The Design Assistant will be responsible for general office/ clerical duties as well as assist with preliminary designs, ranging from Kitchens, Bathrooms, and Whole House Renovations.
The Design Assistant will be responsible for providing kitchen and bath design assistance to clients and Remodeling Consultants. They will assist in maintaining customer relations from the initial design to final completion of residential projects. Positive attitude and willingness to learn a must!
Duties would include, but not limited to:
Provide in-home and showroom design assistance
Use Chief Architect and/or 20/20 to finalize designs as needed
Responsible for showroom coverage as assigned
Miscellaneous duties as requested by management
Qualifications
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to multi-task, highly organized, ability to learn on the fly
Excellent written and oral communication skills including writing, proofreading and editing
High level of proficiency with the Internet, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chief Architect and 20/20 design software.
Honest and Dependable.
Hand drawing skills preferred.
