Cosmetics and food photographer seeking an individual who can wear multiple hats:
1. photo assistant: setting up equipment and breaking down, shopping/prepping props, archiving images and backing up jobs
2. office: directing shoot and retouching schedules, delegating work to retouchers, tracking expenses, occasional production for shoots (booking crew, stylists and studios). Equipment inventory/maintenance
3. marketing: posting current work to social media, keeping website and other galleries up-to-date
Candidate would be highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage shoots and other tasks to meet deadlines while keeping daily tasks in motion. Clear and detailed communication is a must. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn would be key to success in this position. With over 15 years of experience shooting in NYC, you will learn how to survive as a photographer long-term.
