A paint & sip studio in Totowa is hiring part-time art instructors/assistants. Hours vary (dependent on if scheduled class runs), but we are mainly looking for someone who can work late morning/afternoon shifts on the weekends and can fill in as needed. There may also be a need for daytime hours in the summer during the weekdays for kids camps.
The right candidate will be technically skilled at painting with acrylics, be able to paint quickly, be able to recreate our studio paintings, and will preferably have some teaching experience. In addition, he/she must be outgoing, energetic, and a showman with a great sense of humor.
¨Must have reliable transportation and be able to lift tables, stools, and art supplies.
We are looking for teachers, who also may sometimes assist. We pay $20/hr for teaching, and $10/hr for assisting, and shifts are usually 3-4 hours.
To be considered, please send your resume (not an art resume, but a work resume that shows your teaching/work history) AND at least 3 images of your artwork that demonstrate your ability to paint and draw (no digital art, photography, or abstract art). IF you do not send these items, you will not be considered.
